About Dass

Dass Richardson, a Climate Steward since spring 2022, used the principles she learned from the course to spread awareness about the importance of native pollinators. In collaboration with local artist Michele Foster and other community members, Dass helped launch The Hive Collaborative art show dedicated to bees and the threats they face. The event, held at WAV Art Gallery in Ventura, featured live bee hives, youth group presentations, visual and literary artists, and more. “The Climate Steward program taught me that although we can make a difference as individuals, we also can accomplish our goals through connection with others to get the climate message out there,” Richardson says.
