Become a CEC Climate Steward

  • Online classes via Zoom + in-person field trips (map)

Taking bold measures to stop the climate crisis requires many of us — non-profit staff, professionals, recent college graduates, retirees, and community members — to work together. Anyone can be a Climate Steward! With recent federal rollbacks threatening hard-won climate progress, there has never been a more critical time to take meaningful local action. Register to join a cohort of motivated changemakers, explore climate solutions through lessons and field trips, and design a personal Stewardship Project that makes a difference in your community.

CEC's Climate Stewards certification course is offered in September, January, and April. The winter 2026 cohort will begin on Tuesday, January 27 and end on Tuesday, March 17. Classes are held on Tuesday nights from 6:30–8:30 p.m. Total coursework is an approximate 40-hour time commitment.
