Central Coast Climate Justice Network
The Community Environmental Council is a founding member of the Central Coast Climate Justice Network, which is a partnership of social justice, anti-racism, and environmental organizations that work together to expand our region’s collective power to advance restorative actions that lead to systems change, centering on communities who bear the greatest burden of climate change impacts. CCCJN leads key initiatives in Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties, including designing a BIPOC-led Green New Deal, collaborating with frontline communities to build climate resilience and leadership, and addressing and changing systemic racism in the climate justice movement.
