Plastic Free July: How You Can Reduce Waste to Make a Lasting Impact

About this webinar

We all know single-use plastic needs to go, but how do we work collectively to reduce our dependence on it? Learn about the latest local efforts to build a circular economy where we minimize single-use plastic in our day-to-day. We’ll offer simple ways you can be a part of the solutions. Presented in English with Spanish interpretation in collaboration with Explore Ecology, rCup, Rooted Language Services, Sunkissed Pantry, and Toad&Co.

We are only able to offer webinars like this to the community free of charge, thanks to the generosity of individuals like you. Please consider a gift to CEC in support of programming like this webinar.

Watch the recording to learn:

  • How a circular economy can benefit our planet and your pocketbook

  • The power of your pocketbook: how you can eliminate everyday plastic waste by choosing to buy household products at a local refillery

  • How local organizations are educating and activating youth

  • What you can do to support policies that promote comprehensive single-use plastics reduction and circular economy policies

Find resources below, shared in the webinar, and get involved in our work to build a circular economy that reduces plastic waste, just like Jeff Bridges encourages everyone to do in this short video.
