Corporate Giving Program
Charitable Giving & Partnership Opportunities
CEC has fiercely protected California’s Central Coast for more than 50 years. Engaging local businesses and corporations has been critical to our community-led approach to environmental action.
To meet the urgency of the climate crisis, we are stepping up our investment in collective power to garner significant, lasting change to reverse its impacts. As part of this effort, CEC has expanded and formalized our corporate giving program to provide more opportunities for businesses to help advance environmental solutions that ensure a climate-safe future for everyone.
We hope you will join us.

Corporate Partner Guidelines
The Community Environmental Council collaborates with companies that have strong sustainability and environmental commitments and values. Brands, products, and services recognized through our partnerships should offer an authentic and clear alignment with CEC’s mission. To obtain usage rights for CEC’s intellectual property, such as the name or logo, corporate partners must enter into a written agreement that outlines how the licensed marks will be used. Until this agreement is signed, the use of licensed marks is strictly prohibited.
Gift Acceptance Policy
CEC cannot accept donations, sponsorship, or contributions from corporations in the oil or natural gas industry or from mining and minerals companies, nor solicit or accept donations or sponsorships from any financial institution that is significantly invested in fossil fuels. CEC also will not seek or accept contributions from any company in the active planning or permitting phase of a utilityscale renewable energy project in Ventura, Santa Barbara, or San Luis Obispo Counties.
