Green Gala
The Green Gala is CEC’s annual fundraising event, attended by more than 250 community leaders, philanthropists, and climate activists. Typically held in the fall, the event features an eco-friendly dinner, missiondriven program, local entertainment, and a live auction, with ample opportunity to connect and network with other climate-focused community leaders. Santa Barbara Earth Day Festival
In 1970, CEC launched one of the largest and longest-running Earth Day celebrations in the United States. Attracting over 28,000 people and 150+ eco-friendly exhibitors each year, the Santa Barbara Earth Day Festival features two days of live music and speakers, CEC’s Environmental Hero Award ceremony, the nation’s longest-running public Green Car Show, and family-friendly experiences. The Hub
Located in the heart of downtown Santa Barbara at 1219 State Street, CEC’s Environmental Hub hosts regular film screenings, lectures, and other free public events that bring the community together to connect and be inspired. CEC invites corporations to underwrite or sponsor these events to help offset the cost to produce them.
