Youth Climate Workshop

Students in sixth through twelfth grade who are interested in taking bold climate action are invited to join CEC staff, CEC Climate Steward alumni, and community leaders for this free workshop on how to communicate climate change through the arts. Participants will learn about storytelling with zines and nature journaling, participate in an EcoStiks art installation activity, and more. Snacks and drinks are included. Participants will receive community service hours and a CEC Certificate of Completion. The last hour is open to community members of all ages who would like to create a custom EcoStiks patch, led by EcoStiks owner and CEC Climate Steward Julie Schneiderman.

Location: CEC Environmental Hub, 1219 State St., Santa Barbara
