E-CAR 805

The Equitable Charging Access for Renters in the 805 region (E-CAR 805) Project is a collaboration across San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and Ventura Counties to expand electric vehicle charging access to low-income multifamily housing along the Central Coast. The project will support the installation of 379 EV chargers at 70 multifamily housing sites, with a focus on increasing access in low-income and disadvantaged communities. Led by UC Santa Barbara in partnership with CEC and other local organizations, the project also includes community engagement, EV education and resources for residents. Learn more.
